Interesting, Osamah, isn’t it: According to leading authorities and sources of Islam, the verse you just quoted refers to Muslims, not to non-Muslim “People of the Book.”

Seems that 3:113 is not the much sought for Golden Rule of Islam, doesn’t it? Now where is the Golden Rule of Islam to be found? Where, Osamah, does the Qur’an or the ahadith or the sira unequivocally state that the lives of kuffar have the same value as those of Muslims? Where do they state without any doubt that kuffar are to be granted the same rights as Muslims, indefinitely, even in a Muslim majority country? And even in the kilafah?

Please show me such references, Osamah. And non-abrogated verses that contemporary scholars agree on.

You can’t, Osamah. Your religion/ideology is supremacist to the bone. Islam is a shitty deal for all kuffar.

And as to your reading of 9:29: Too bad that your view has not been reflected in the inglorious history of Islamic conquest and plunder of other cultures since its inception. You know damned well that 9:29 is acted upon today, as it was for all subjugated peoples from India to North Africa, that Muslims were to collect the jizya from dhimmis. You know about the Pact of Omar, and the humiliating conditions it imposed upon the dhimma.

And yet you make no mention to these brutal facts at all. Kitman and taqiyya will get you nowhere here. We are enlightened enough to know what evil Islam is for free people of the world.

As per Qur’an 9:29?

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued”.

I have a strong feeling that what you see as “human freedom” has nothing whatsoever to do with Western notions of freedom. And please, do not use the word ‘context’ when replying, or I will most certainly throw up my non-halal dinner over the keyboard.

Just read this article. You should also know that i dont agree with your guys “right” to get proof in order to see Islam in a positive light. You should also know that every religion or ideology, including democracy, has a universal goal. But this is something positive, in accordance with human freedom. If this criteria is not met, you cannot call it either Christianity or Islam.
