The Outlook for Europe: A timeline of attacks and thwarted plots in Europe shows that the pace of jihadist activity on the Continent is increasing. As was the case in the United States, major attacks like the March 2004 Madrid train bombings and the July 2005 London subway bombings have caused European authorities to become far more focused on this threat, and consequently they have become more proactive in their approach to combating it. Fjordman’s latest essay concerns the contrast between media coverage of the massacre in Norway by Anders Behring Breivik, and the kid-glove treatment granted the Toulouse murderer Mohammed Merah. This text will form a part of Fjordman’s upcoming book about the Breivik case, “Witness to Madness”, which should be in circulation in the second half of 2013. GoV

A recent Human Rights Watch report in 2010, Kuwait: For Abused Domestic Workers, Nowhere to Turn noted “ the lack of protection for foreign migrant domestic workers who have minimal protection against employers who withhold salaries, force employees to work long hours with no days off, deprive them of adequate food, or abuse them physically or sexually.”
Read between the lines of email from an American security contractor in Kuwait:
The Arab world here is “lawless”. They can do whatever they want. Approximately every two weeks a Filipina maid “commits” suicide by jumping to her death from a high rise apartment. What that translates to is she refused to have sex with her “master” or his sons. Kuwait is leading country in the world for human trafficking (slaves). Every time a woman, alone, gets into a cab here she is in danger of being taken out to the desert raped and killed. .. It is common knowledge that the police here are the BAD GUYS. I have witnessed in broad daylight women being abducted by the police. They are notorious for taking the women to police stations and raping them. . . . When traveling here on the economy I am always conscious of watching my back. The Arab expression is ” man, woman, backside same “, that reflects their bi-sexual upbringing.
