Den pakistanske stammenatur gik over optugtelsen. England er blevet en parodi og en vittighed, de behøver ikke Monty Python længere.

What a proud day for the world’s most important alliance. MEMRI reports that during a recent visit to his native Pakistan, Lord Nazir Ahmed, a member of the British House of Lords, announced that he was putting up a bounty of £10 million for the capture of President Barack Obama and his predecessor, President George W. Bush.

The bounty is an expression of solidarity with the Pakistan-based jihadist organization, Lashkar-e-Taiba, for aid in the capture of whose chief (Hafiz Muhammad Saeed) the United States has announced a $10 million reward. Lord (ahem) Ahmed regards the U.S. bid as “an insult to all Muslims” and a “challenge [to the] dignity of the Muslim ummah.” The peer went on to say “he would arrange the bounty at any cost even if he was left with the option of selling all his personal assets, including his house.” The ummah is the notional worldwide community of Muslims — and here you thought members of Parliament represented Britain. Thank you Tony Blair.

Pakistan born Lord Ahmed was made Britain’s first muslim peer in 1998 and is no stranger to controversy. In 2007 he criticised Tony Blair’s decision to award author Salman Rushdie a Knighthood, saying he had “blood on his hands” Britain’s House (of Lords) Islamist Places £10 Million Bounty on Obama and Bush, Lord Ahmed Suspended After Offering ‘£10m Bounty For Capture Of Obama And Bush’

Barnevoldtægt er ok, men bare lår og en brysteholder…….

In Utrecht, sexy posters have been covered up and a message stuck across them. Many people are annoyed at what they see as “Muslim censorship”, others are surprised it hasn’t been done before.

In Kanaleneiland, a predominantly Muslim area of Utrecht, a poster advertising the open museum weekend has been covered by a black bag. The poster shows a woman in a short pink strapless dress. A message reading ‘La ilahe il Allah – No Sexually Tinted Advertising In Our Suburbs. Stand Up And Fight Against This Case To Protect Our Children!’ is plastered across the bag. Another poster showing a woman in a bikini in the distance walking on a beach has also been covered up. The next day the cover had been taken off, but angry reactions had already started appearing on the internet. Muslim censorship or just plain decency?

A photo of a Muslim woman wearing full Islamic dress and holding up a bra as she sorts laundry is stirring controversy in Kamloops, B.C., and the Saudi Arabian Embassy is now involved. The photo, taken by Thompson Rivers University fine arts student Sooraya Graham, features one of Graham’s friends wearing a niqab, a veil covering the face, and an abaya, a full-body cloak. The picture was a class assignment and was originally displayed with other student photos in mid-March, until some students complained and a staff member tore it down a week later. “I was pretty shocked and I kind of felt my personal space as an artist and a Canadian had been invaded,” said Graham. OT. France and Race: A Question of Identite http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01fhysd Julian Jackson explores the central issue in the current election campaign for the Presidency of France: race, religion and what it means today to be French. Clichy-sous-Bois is a notorious Parisian ghetto. True, the wooded, gently rolling slopes of this borough to the north-east of the capital are stacked with residential blocks, yet there are no telltale burned-out blocks or abandoned lots. Clichy is kempt. It was though in this almost wholly immigrant community that the death in 2005 of two Muslim youths fleeing from police sparked some of the worst… Read more »

Angående: ” In Utrecht, sexy posters have been covered up”……”Muslim censorship or just plain decency”…… Read more »
