Seneste kapitel i Lars Hedegaard “racisme-sagen” udspillede sig i Østre Landsrets 8 afdeling i gĂ„r. Jeg burde mĂ„ske efterhĂ„nden ogsĂ„ ytre mig om den sag, nĂ„r jeg nu spiller en mindre birolle, hvis overhovedet er muligt at tilfĂžje noget til de spaltekilometer, der allerede er skrevet. MĂ„ske haster det ikke, man fornemmer, der er tid nok. Jeg har aflagt vidneforklaring overfor politiet og byretten, og nu var jeg kĂžrt 150 kilometer for at sige det samme igen, – troede jeg. Det tidligere sagte blev lĂŠst op, jeg skulle bare bifalde det eller ikke bifalde det. Jeg var pĂ„ nippet til at tilfĂžje “hvor er det dog nĂžjagtigt og godt refereret” eller “det er jo som at hĂžre mig selv tale” for dog at levere noget for alle kilometrene, men dommeren lod forstĂ„, at han allerede var fĂŠrdig med mig. Jeg satte mig pĂ„ tilhĂžrerrĂŠkkerne med de 30 andre og tĂŠnkte pĂ„, hvad sĂ„dan en sag mon koster skatteyderne. Fem eller femten millioner? Bagefter var der Ăžl i Bredgade, udtalt pĂ„ gammelkĂžbenhavnsk lokaldialekt med det fĂžrste “d” stumt. Solen skinnede, fuglene sang. “Hvor lĂŠnge mon endnu?” sang en. “Hvem ender med rĂžven pĂ„ komedie?”, sang en anden selvom vi var tĂŠt ved Amalienborg. (Steen)

Magthaverne har til alle tider prĂžvet at feje ubehagelige problemer under gulvtĂŠppet ved at forbyde folk at snakke om dem.Det kan de ogsĂ„ sagtens gĂžre – isĂŠr hvis de kan stĂžtte sig til en tjenstvillig anklagemyndighed. Omkostningen er blot, at problemerne ligger inde under gulvtĂŠppet og tager sĂ„ meget pĂ„ i vĂŠgt, at der med tiden opstĂ„r enorme buler, som folk falder over og fĂžrst tĂžr tale om, nĂ„r det er for sent at gĂžre noget ved dem. Det er derfor vi har ytringsfrihed. Ytringsfriheden er – ud fra et samfundsmĂŠssigt synspunkt – en institution, der skal sikre, at vi bliver gjort opmĂŠrksomme pĂ„ problemer, fĂžr de bliver ulĂžselige.

Ytringsfriheden er derfor grundlaget for, at vi kan have folkesuverÊnitet, demokrati og lighed for loven. Begynder man at regulere, hvad der mÄ siges, og hvad der mÄ tÊnkes, er det jo udtryk for, at magthaverne allerede mener sig i besiddelse af sandheden.
Al historisk erfaring viser, at sÄdanne velfriserede samfund mÄ gÄ til grunde, fordi en alvidende og algod Þvrighed aldrig har eksisteret. Erfaringen viser ogsÄ, at en Þvrighed, der mener sig sÄ alvidende og algod, at den tyr til indhug i ytringsfriheden, stÄr for fald.
Historien rummer en lang rĂŠkke eksempler pĂ„ forfĂžlgelser og fordĂžmmelser af personer, hvis tanker mĂ„tte forekomme ethvert anstĂŠndigt menneske at vĂŠre oplagt vanvittige, usaglige eller til fare for sĂŠdeligheden og den offentlige orden, men som alligevel – nĂ„r de formastelige var blevet brĂŠndt pĂ„ bĂ„let, sat i fĂŠngsel eller pĂ„ anden mĂ„de tvunget til tavshed – viste sig at indeholde en sandhed. En vicestatsadvokat som en vÄd fuser

Det er fascinerende at iagttage hvordan der verden over benyttes de samme skabelonagtige virkemidler i forsvaret for den trĂŠngte multikultur: Vi har mange gange gjort opmĂŠrksom pĂ„ den refleksmĂŠssige opstilling af moralsk ĂŠkvivalens, hvor evigtgyldige, voldsopfordrende Koranvers antages at udlignes af tidsbundne blodigheder i det Gamle Testamente. PĂ„ en eller anden mĂ„de er knebet blevet annammet og slugt rĂ„t i sĂ„ godt som alle sammenhĂŠnge – akademisk som lavpandet.

Et andet trick med en betydelig udbredelse er at associere islamkritikere med, eller ligefrem tillĂŠgge dem, de samme voldelige tilbĂžjeligheder som de jihadister de kritiserer – medfĂžrer skrift eller tale ikke ligefrem afrevne lemmer og litervis af blod, kan man i det mindste prĂžve at smĂŠde kritikeren ved association eller tillĂŠggelse af skyld. Se f. eks. den formentlig hĂžjt betalte journalist Joe Klein, ansat ved det engang prestigefyldte, men nu hensygnende Time Magazine, der ikke lĂŠgger fingrene imellem, og springer alle mellemregninger over – pastor Terry Jones er sĂ„ skyldig som en selvmordsbombemand:

PÄ Snaphanen kender vi bedst til retssale fra Hollywoods court room dramas, og ved egentlig ikke om en dansk vicestatsadvokat kan vÊre en manipulerende Karl Smart der godt ved hvad der sÊlger billetter i landsretten, eller om han evt. kunne vÊre drevet af kognitiv dissonans der fÄr ham til at projicere ubekvemme egenskaber hos dele af det klientel hvis fÞlelser han varetager, over pÄ anklagede. Under alle omstÊndigheder hÞrtes i landsretten i dag dette forsÞg pÄ at dele sol og vind lige pÄ samme mÄde som hos Joe Klein:

Som sagt er Snaphanens redaktion generelt lovlydige borgere, og vi ved ikke rigtigt hvad der skal til for at ‘spille smart’ for landsrettens ‘cowboyrĂŠkke’ – om man sĂ„ mĂ„ sige. Fra en lĂŠgmandsbetragtning ligner dette godt nok et ualmindeligt billigt kneb man ikke troede var en vicestatsadvokat vĂŠrdig, men hvad ved vi? Vi mĂ„ se hvad den hĂžje ret falder for d. 3. maj (LFPC).

barry Rubin ser en stigende ‘mellemĂžstificering’ af den vestlige politiske kultur, i diametral modsĂŠtning til de vĂ„de drĂžmme om at udfolde vestligt demokrati i MellemĂžsten. Det er skrĂŠmmende at konstatere at der pĂ„ trods af kommentarens fokus pĂ„ amerikanske frihedsidealer gĂ„r en lige linje til de europĂŠiske angreb pĂ„ ytringsfriheden, og sĂ„ledes ogsĂ„ til den verserende sag i landsretten (LFPC):

Newspapers accept censorship, intellectuals embrace telling lies, and women’s rights’ groups cheer the suppression of women’s rights in Muslim societies. Those who have spent years fantasizing how they would have been heroic resistance fighters against dictatorship fold, trembling, in the face of a single letter of complaint.

Remember, victims of this tactic don’t have to be actually guilty but merely accused to be considered guilty. Consequently, and most likely of all, they would already have been intimidated into silence.

And then you are finished as completely as any Arab or Muslim accused of being a running dog of the Zionists and imperialists. In many cases, those in public life so branded might as well get a shopping cart and hang out on street corners collecting bottles to return for the deposit. […]

Public, even semi-public expressions of racism are virtually extinct in America, whatever might be inside people’s minds and hearts. The level of hostility toward homosexuals has fallen faster and further than anyone would have believed a decade or two ago. As for Islamophobia, its definition is unclear but certainly its scope has been greatly exaggerated by those who have a political interest in greatly exaggerating it.

The critical point is this: For every bit of “hate speech” or action, there are hundreds, even thousands of false, politically motivated accusations. Like the secret police in a dictatorship, the forces must seek out new crimes and conspiracies. But unlike an earlier phase of genuine efforts to promote tolerance, the strategy becomes a political one for crushing dissent and consolidating support for the prevailing ideology and rulers.

If laws restrict freedom to speak in the West on a variety of topics then people can be legally in a way making the West arguably more restrictive than Muslim-majority countries which, after all, generally solely restrict Islam from open discussion. En Marineofficer blandt Afghanistans indfĂždte

Det kan krÊve en mental indsats at acceptere at den vestlige tilstedevÊrelse i Afghanistan tjener et hÞjere formÄl, nemlig vores egen sikkerhed. Man kan kun hÄbe at dette virkelig er tilfÊldet, men anstrengelsen er nok fÞrst og fremmest at mÄtte sluge den kendsgerning at landets egen kultur er udenfor rÊkkevidde. Allerhelst sÄ man det primitive bjergland indhegnet af en uigennemtrÊngelig mur. En Marineofficer har sendt Pamela Geller nogle observationer fra sit ophold i Afghanistan (LFPC).

In a nation with no literacy, Marines are a week’s worth of excitement and gossip. I had some candies in a bag so I passed some out as we talked with the kids about foreigners, Taliban, and peace. At that moment, 2 of the cutest little girls you have ever seen came out peeked out of the compound and immediately the little boys flew into a rage and chased them with sticks, throwing them and hitting one girl square in the back. I immediately chastened the boys and told them that what they did was not wrong, it was evil. The boys shouted back that they were “just girls!”

Two days ago, one of the linguists I work with was sitting looking like a man broken-hearted. I asked what was wrong and his friends, all full of vacant eyed smiles, said, “His fiancĂ© killed herself!” as they all laughed except for the broken hearted one. I didn’t believe them at first because humans do not respond to tragedy in triumphant laughter. I again asked what the matter was and they again reiterated that his girl had killed herself. At this he looked up mournfully and nodded. Her parents tried to force her into a marriage with another man and she resisted. They forced, so she took poison. His friends went on to explain that it was OK because “she was just a girl and there are many others.” I stopped them as only an angry Marine can. I described to them in very insensitive language that they are all jacked up and their mood represents why their country is in the Stone Age, that this place has no heart and their souls are dead. I told them that they need to get through their heads that a woman’s life is just as important as a man’s and when a woman dies it is just as tragic as when a man dies. They looked at me as though I was explaining to them a deep secret and two of them even started nodding. Maybe there is hope. I wished the linguist affected well and was done with them. Vesten drukner

Jordens befolkning tĂŠller i dag knap 7 mia. mennesker og vokser med godt 80 mio. om Ă„ret. Den Ă„rlige tilvĂŠkst svarer sĂ„ledes til Tysklands samlede befolkning. En tilvĂŠkst af denne stĂžrrelse er imidlertid af ny dato. Det kan vi fĂ„ et indtryk af ved f. eks. at se pĂ„, hvor lang tid det tog at forĂžge jordens befolkning med 1 mia. mennesker fĂžr i tiden og i dag. Omkring 1800, dvs. for ca. 200 Ă„r siden, havde verdensbefolkningen nĂ„et den fĂžrste mia., og det havde altsĂ„ taget mange Ă„rtusinder. I lĂžbet af de nĂŠste blot 130 Ă„r – dvs. til omkring 1930 – var Jordens befolkning vokset med yderligere 1 mia. Men omkring 1960 talte verdensbefolkningen 3 mia. Nu tog det altsĂ„ kun 30 Ă„r at lĂŠgge yderligere 1 mia. til. PĂ„ vejen frem mod de nuvĂŠrende knap 7 mia. er jordens befolkning hvert 13. Ă„r blevet forĂžget med en mia.
Den stagnerende befolkningsudvikling i industrilandene og den hastige befolkningsudvikling i udviklingslandene siden midten af 1900-tallet har medfÞrt en stor Êndring af den befolkningsmÊssige balance mellem de to regioner. Medens 1/3 af jordens befolkning i 1950 boede i industrilandene, er det i dag mindre en 1/5. Af verdensbefolkningens Ärlige tilvÊkst pÄ 80 mio. sker over 95 pct. i udviklingslandene. PÄ grund af Afrikas langsomme fÞdselsnedgang vil denne verdensdel opleve en forÞgelse af indbyggertallet fra en 1 mia. til godt 2 mia., dvs. mere end en fordobling i lÞbet af blot 40 Är.

I dag bor 18 pct. af verdens befolkning i industrilandene, om 40 Ă„r er det under 14 pct. Europas andel af verdensbefolkningen vil falde fra knap 11 til godt 7 pct. Ingen snak om “retssikker asylprĂžvning”, “overholdelse af konventioner,” “generĂžs flygtningepolitik”osv, der ikke forholder sig til verdens demografi, og at den altsĂ„ vil medfĂžre egenudslettelse, bĂžr tages alvorligt. I dag er godt 20 % af Sveriges indbyggerede indvandrede og efterkommere fra den seneste generation. Et ret konservativt skĂžn siger, at 9.9 % af Sveriges befolkning om kun 19 Ă„r er muslimer. Det vil sige at 20 % er inden for rĂŠkkevidde, og mĂ„ske endda 30 % ogsĂ„ i dette Ă„rhundrede. AltsĂ„ mod en Kosovo-lignende demografi. Hvordan forestiller den svenske Riksdag sig mon det vil spĂŠnde af ? Det gĂžr den selvfĂžlgelig heller ikke, det overlader den til andre som den kan skamme ud for deres beskidte fantasi. Ingen i den offentlige debat forholder sig til det simple faktum. Selv mener jeg som bekendt, – selvom det er gĂŠtvĂŠrk pĂ„ nogle Ă„rtiers aftsand – at Sverige allerede har passeret det punkt, hvor et fredeligt forlĂžb virker som det sandsynligste. Men landet er kun den ekstreme illustration pĂ„ det der sker lidt langsommere i resten af Europa: vores ledere fĂžrer os som lam til slagtebĂŠnken, lidt mere tĂžvende end fĂžr, undtagen i Sverige, naturligvis. Mine forĂŠldre var unge under besĂŠttelsen, de ville ikke tĂžve et sekund med at kalde disse politikere “quislinge” og “landssvigere”. Man mĂ„ jo hĂ„be for dem, at det ikke er en holdning, der breder sig ved den nĂŠring tiden kan give den.

Religionsdialog pÄ amerikansk

Sagerne om Terry Jones’ anstrengte forhold til islam har forlĂŠngst fjernet sig fra spĂžrgsmĂ„let om hvad denne pastor og hans lille kirkesamfund selv reprĂŠsenterer, og Ăžnsker at opnĂ„ med deres mediestunts. Rituel hĂŠndervasken og afstandstagen fra vulgĂŠr amerikansk cowboykristendom er formĂ„lslĂžs – Jones er blot katalysator og Ăžjeblikkets brĂŠndpunkt, og enhver der har Ăžjne og kan og vil se kan ikke vĂŠre i tvivl. Videoen her er et lille mikrokosmos pĂ„ noget der transcenderer cykelstyroverskĂŠg og primitiv teologi. Og nĂ„r det er sagt sĂ„ klarer Terry Jones faktisk optrinnet her med stor vĂŠrdighed – i modsĂŠtning til den fremmĂždte arabiske gadepĂžbel der beklageligvis opholder sig i hans land (LFPC).

GumlĂžse Kirke i SkĂ„ne – Nordens fĂžrste teglstensbygning

Gumlösa Kyrka Àr den Àldsta daterade tegelbyggnaden i Norden *. Man vet exact nÀr den invigdes 26 oktober 1192, i nÀrvaro av Àrkebiskop Absalon i Lund, Àrkebiskop Erik av Nidaros , nuvaranda Trondheim samt biskop Stenar i VÀxjö. Genom renheten i sin stil och sine vÀl bibehÄllna ursprungliga anordningar kunde den betraktas som typisk i sitt slag. Kyrkan har hÀrjats av brand tvÄ gÄngar. Först den 9 februar 1612, dÄ Gustaf II Adolf hÀrjade hÀr och brÀnda hela byn, för att fÄ tag pÄ snapphanarna. Andra gÄngen den 24 mars 1904, dÄ man tröskade sÀd pÄ Sinclairsholm, dÄ Àven gÄrdens ekonomibyggnader bran ner. [..]
Kyrkan har en fin gammal dopfunt som Àven den Àr frÄn 1100-talet och huggen av Tove StenmÀstare. Bland alla ornament pÄ funten stÄr ocksÄ TOVEGIRI= Tove gjorde mig. [..]
Till kyrkans 700-Ă„rs-minne 1891 utgaf rektorn C.O.Arcadius i VĂ€xjö en broschyr om kyrkan och dess historia. One of the least known aspects of the current Libyan conflict is its brutal, racial component. Media reports claim Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is using black African mercenaries in his war against the rebels. In retaliation, the insurgents have targeted in violent attacks African immigrant workers living in Libya, from whom, the rebels believe, Gaddafi is recruiting his mercenaries. Before the uprising began, an estimated 1.5 million Africans resided in Libya, many as low-paid labourers, but the violence has caused a large number to flee the country or to go into hiding. […]

But another, more sinister motive lurks behind the current rebel “African hunt” than just Gaddafi’s disturbing use of African mercenaries to put down the rebellion. The ferocious animosity Libyan rebels are showing toward black Africans is actually rooted in a deeply embedded, centuries-old Arab racism the war has inflamed. This racism has its roots in the institution of Islamic slavery.

And this abomination of Islamic slavery, upon which Arab racism rests, will be difficult to eradicate. It is an ingrained, centuries-old institution that is also legal under sharia law and, according to historian Bernard Lewis, “elaborately regulated.” The case of Cairo University professor Dr. Abu Zayd, an Islamic theologian, indicates the dangers and complications of challenging sharia law’s slavery provisions. When Zayd contended that “keeping slave girls and taxing non-Muslims” was contrary to Islam, he was declared an apostate and a sharia court forcibly divorced him from his wife. Slyngelrettigheder og den engelske syge

Man kunne kalde dette et eksempel pÄ det konsekvenslÞse samfund kÞrt ud i det ekstreme, men for samfundet selv er dette selvfÞlgelig alt andet end konsekvenslÞst. Os bekendt har vi ikke noget der kommer i nÊrheden af dette suicidale rettighedsregime i den danske socialpÊdagogik, men er de eksempler vi ogsÄ har oplevet herhjemme med oplevelsesture og nye cykler til nogen der ikke fortjener det alligevel et udslag af det samme socialpÊdagogiske paradigme du jour? What’s extraordinary about this latest response from the bureaucratic heart of the European Union is that it includes the declared intention of deliberately and pre-emptively importing the North African refugees into Europe.

That is, the Commission intends to surrender to the “Camp of the Saints” invasion before it is fully underway. According to ANSAmed:

(ANSAmed) — Brussels, April 20 — One of the proposals made by the European Commission is to start a programme for the redistribution of Libyan refugees in the camps at the border between Tunisia and Egypt to European countries, to avoid human trafficking.

The EC wants to make this proposal part of the ‘communication on immigration’ drafted by Cecilia Malmstrom, which will be formally approved by the European executive on May 4. After that it will be presented to the European Council and the European Parliament.

Sources in Brussels explain that the redistribution proposal wants to replicate what was done in 2009 and 2010 for around 10,000 Iraqi refugees in Syrian and Jordan, who have been distributed among several European countries, with funds that have been made available by the EU. […]

So, in order to “avoid human trafficking”, the European Commissioners will become human traffickers themselves. And their low, low rates will drive all the other traffickers out of business.

And the model for the “redistribution proposal” is the recent resettlement of 10,000 culture enrichers from Iraq. GrĂŒnewald og Bach

The final flowering of the Gothic came relatively late, in the work of the German artist, Matthias GrĂŒnewald 1470-1528. He was possibly an exact contemporary of DĂŒrer, but while DĂŒrer was deeply influenced by the Renaissance, GrĂŒnewald ignored it in his choice of subject matter and style. Much of his work has not survived to this day, but even from the small amount that has come down to us, it is possible to see GrĂŒnewald as one of the most powerful of all painters. No other painter has ever so terribly and truthfully exposed the horror of suffering, and yet kept before us, as Bosch does not, the conviction of salvation. His Crucifixion, part of the many-panelled Isenheim Altarpiece, is now kept in Colmar. It was commissioned for the Antoinite monastery at Isenheim and was intended to give support to patients in the monastic hospital. Christ appears hideous, his skin swollen and torn as a result of the flagellation and torture that He endured.
